RESPOND provided technical assistance, including: short- and long-term technical assistance for family planning, long-acting and permanent methods of contraception, and gender programming; inclusion of countries in global studies; and testing and evaluation of tools, models, and approaches for use worldwide at different points in time and with varying levels of intensity in a total of 25 countries over the course of the six-year project.
RESPOND also received funds from USAID missions and from the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) for field support in 11 countries, in addition to receiving funding for three Associate Awards—Tanzania and two in Bangladesh (Mayer Hashi and Mayer Hashi II).
On each page devoted to RESPOND’s work in a particular country, materials and resources from that country are displayed by type (project and technical briefs, journal articles, research studies and reports, tools, training manuals, job aids and other resources).
The Global and Regional page contains resources from studies conducted in multiple countries or materials focused on global reproductive health issues.
Additionally, materials can be viewed by topic or by type.
